Lordy lord, it's Friday! Wow, last night was a long one.

So we did it! We met Daniel Baldwin! And he's going to come on Funemployment Radio sometime in the near future! And he was super cool! Okay, that's enough exclamation points. Last night we attended the Portland Music Awards at the Crystal Ballroom that features such celebrities as... Daniel Baldwin! And that's pretty much it. Lots of good music, met a lot of fantastic folks, and had many jello shot and had an all around good time. Today on the show we recapped the previous nights excursions, and talked about Jersey Shore, Taco Bell (I know, we are all class here), irish music, Daniel Baldwin, Ball Talk, a man kissing a chicken on a subway, a horrible Lady GaGa parody video, and Greg shaved his beard into a really creepy mustache called the Franz Joseph (Oh, and we recorded every rip-roaring second of it, folks). Yes, dreams can come true, and yours will today because you get to hear someone SHAVING THEIR BEARD IN REAL TIME! HOT DOG! Did I mention we met Daniel Baldwin?

It's Pammy's Day! And Sarah does not seem to want to ever part with her sequined dress.

Tonight Sarah will be representing Willamette Week (along with her buddy Jay Horton) at the PMA's... hosted by Daniel Baldwin! Ah, it's going to be glorious. And giving into the true team spirit, she is going to bring the Nibman himself to represent Funemployment Radio in the media room! Woo! Okay, I've had too much caffeine.

Okay, so today we spoke about tonight (of course), the Blazer game from last night, standing too close to cliffs, hiking (hmm), John Edwards, Lady GaGa, a slew of celebrity deaths (RIP Salinger, Zinn & Rubinstein), Jay Leno (douchebag), horrible athletes who beat their pregnant wives, and, of course, we talked about the man of the hour - Daniel Baldwin. At great length. I think that we have sealed the fact with the things we said today that we'll never have him on the show, but here's hoping! Greg is going to do whatever it takes to get him to be a guest when he meets him tonight. WHATEVER IT TAKES! Ew, not that.

Happy Wednesday, folks!

Today Greg tried to regain his manliness by telling stories of sky-diving and being in bands... and then he failed when we started talking about museums. And it was kind of awesome. We also covered Dong-gate 2010, as well as found out our pimp names, talked about Sarah being in the Willamette Week (check her out in the Head Out section!), beard talk, and also chatted about Charlie Sheen's crack-smoking wife (literally), Dustin Diamond reveals secrets about the cast of Saved by the Bell (there are some juicy ones), and we talk about our favorite artists. Seriously. Painty-kind, not singy-kind. We ended the show with a rousing chant to Nibler's manhood. Because, you know, he is quite manly.

We like Tuesdays better than Mondays (minus the fact we had Aaron Duran on yesterday and he was awesome!)

Today we introduced our newest sponsor who we are super fucking stoked about, which is the B-Side Tavern on 6th and E. Burnside! Okay, I digress - today we also had many conversations about yes, Lady GaGa, the Portland Music Awards (which Sarah is doing red carpet interviews for the Willamette Week for!), Greg Oden's Dong (no, not a new band in town), voting, pregnant man, JWoww, Battlestar (of course, sorry to you folks that have already watched it!), Tiger Woods, Tila Tequila (ugh), and a fantastical karaoke song that we've both been obsessed with for awhile but were too nervous to sing. We got over the nerves and sang it today. It was terrible.

Funemployment Radio™ Episode 52

Good Monday to you all!

This weekend was the zombie ball at Dublin Down and it was fantastical! Thanks to all of you fabulous folks who came out to hang out in amazing costumes, we had so much fun and hope you all did as well! After giving a wrap-up of our weekends goings-on we chatted about Battlestar Galactica (of course), Dead Like Me, Outlook Portland (we were on it yesterday!), Aaron Duran from Geek in the City came in to talk to us in his usual inappropriate manor including telling one of the most horrific stories we've EVER heard. Holy crap. We also sang some karaoke inspired by said Aaron Duran story, and had a brand new Ball Talk where Greg had to admit that he was wrong on his picks for the NFL this past weekend. In entertainment news there were two (semi) celebrities who were arrested over the weekend, plus an update on the never-ending Tiger Woods saga that is pretty hilarious.
